Inbox and sketches
Capture raw thoughts quickly, sort them in the inbox and decide what becomes a note.
What it is for
A sketch is a quick raw thought. No title, no folder, no formatting. You write it down before it is gone.
The inbox collects every sketch until it becomes a note or you archive it.
How to do it

Create a sketch
On your phone, tap the quick actions in the bottom right corner and choose “Sketch”. In the browser, open the inbox and use “Sketch” in the top right. The sketch is saved the moment you send it.

Open the inbox
“Inbox” in the sidebar lists your sketches. The filters narrow them down by source, state, vault and date range.

Tidy up
“Archive” takes a sketch out of the inbox. You can undo it right away. On your phone, swipe right to archive.

Run Dream now
“Run Dream now” puts the sketch into the next run instead of waiting for the night. On your phone, swipe left. This needs a plan that includes dreaming.

Decide on the suggestion
When dreaming has suggested a note from a sketch, the suggestion waits for you under “Dreams”. Accept it, edit it first or discard it.
What Kepos does in the background
Dreaming reads the sketch and suggests a finished note from it: with a title, a place to live and a short summary for your decision. Each sketch is handled on its own. Kepos only creates the note once you accept the suggestion. Dreaming adds links to other notes in the runs after that.
Your AI assistant can create sketches too. They land in the same inbox and follow the same path.
Common questions
Can I send emails to the inbox?
Not yet. Email import is in preparation. Until then, your AI assistant can turn the content of an email into a sketch.
Is there a web clipper or voice recording?
Both are in preparation. Today, sketches come from the sketch dialog and from your AI assistant.
What happens to sketches if my plan has no dreaming?
They stay in the inbox. You write the note yourself and archive the sketch.
